Manny Pacquiao is still the champion in the Hearts of Many

June 10, 2012.. This is the day that the world of boxing was stunned and shaken by the win of Timothy Bradley over the Manny Pacquiao. It may be the worst and obviously shocking decision in the world of boxing.

It is the first time ever on this decade that the spectators inside the boxing arena stayed and protested unanimously over the decision by "booing Bradley and cheering for Manny" even if they know that its the final decision.Sadly to say that this is boxing, where you can't see the actual score unlike basketball and other sports that you will know the winner by the points even before the game ends.
In this sport, we rely on the scorecards which are in the hands of the judges. Unfortunately this time, the judges didn't seem to know the true meaning of sportsmanship.

When I was watching, I have this feeling that a bad thing might happen in the end but I was still hoping that Nevada judges would be fair enough to give the just decision. But my excitement turned into shock... I was silence and really couldn't believe that this type of decisions can still happen these days wherein people have greater voices and people have eyes that sees the truth.

Manny just funnily said" I don't know what happen".  I think that's the best answer he could give to express his disappointment over what he felt like something was stolen from him. I couldn't agree more. I feel the same way.  He should have won. Bradley should have had his first lost. Even other Sports bodies who is far more experienced in the world of boxing decided that Pacquiao wins in their scorecards. Truly Manny Pacquiao should have won.

It's good for sports, and good for boxing. A total eye opener.

I know for the fact that people from all over the world still sees Manny Pacquiao as their champion. Bradley didn't succeed on what he said he wants the spot that Manny is having right now even he got the decision. Manny has the hearts of the people and that's far more rewarding.

As Bob Arum said, it will not be in Nevada next time., clearly states that maybe  he thinks he cannot trust "their system" in the sport of boxing. I totally agree if he thought so. I wished it was done in Texas or in any other state where fair and just rule..............

Where "men with the pen are not blind".
